About Lymph Laugh Love

Lymph Laugh Love is in the business of helping people heal through massage therapy. Using gentle manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) as our main tool, we jumpstart your lymphatic system to reduce swelling and stagnation that causes things like scar tissue, pain, and discomfort. While post surgery clients are who we commonly work with, our Portland massage therapist, Dani Allen LMT gets great results using MLD for athletic recovery, Lyme, chronic illness, and other inflammation. Other tools we use to help people reach their goals are cupping, craniosacral and myofascial release.

We work with people healing from all types of surgeries, from liposuction to gender affirming surgery to knee replacements. Our goal is to get great results without compromising comfort, consent or communication.

Asha Wellness is located on the second floor of a building with stairs and an elevator. It has a parking lot with handicapped spots. The bathrooms are private use and all gender. My current room does not have wheelchair access, however, I have access to a room with wheelchair access, I just need to know about a day ahead of time. My massage table is hydraulic and goes as low as 20 inches in height.

Specifications of my massage table:

• Dimensions: 30" x 73"

• Height range: 20" - 33"

• Working weight capacity: 450 lbs

Acknowledgment

I would like to acknowledge that my studio workspace rests on the unceded lands of the Clackamas, Cowlitz and Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde. What we now call Portland, Oregon and Multnomah County are the ancestral lands of the Multnomah, Wasco, Kathlamet, Clackamas, Cowlitz, bands of Chinook, Tualatin Kalapuya, Molalla and many other Tribes who made their homes along the Columbia and Willamette Rivers.

I am on this land because of the forced removal of its traditional people by colonists and settlers. As a white person of european descent who is a guest/settler on this land, I would like to recognize the native communities in my region and offer gratitude for their past and continued stewardship of these lands.

As a practitioner of Craniosacral Therapy, I would also like to acknowledge its indigenous roots with Cherokee and Shawnee healers.

As a practitioner of some Traditional Chinese Medicine modalities, I would also like to acknowledge the roots of what I practice.

I work to respect and honor the origins of the modalities I practice. I do this by continuing to learn, working to make bodywork accessible and bringing light to the origins of what I practice. I am continually learning and adjusting how I practice body work thanks to feedback I have received and will continue to receive.
